The mummy cat had taken shelter in the disused basement boiler room of a building and had given birth to four kittens there. She came out of the basement from time to time, but always returned quickly to her kittens.

One day the mummy cat did not return. A couple of days went by, and still she did not come back. When one of the people living in the building went in to check on them she found two of the four kittens dead and two on the brink of death. She brought the two surviving kittens to the shelter. We named them April and May, as that was the time of the year it was. We bottle fed them day and night with added love and affection until they were able to feed themselves.

April and May are now two years old. If you sponsor them you will be making a great contribution to our charity which saved their lives, and they will live with us happily ever after.
