The shelter received an alert from a man working in a vehicle repair workshop in Karacabey. He reported that a badly injured small dog had been hiding in a ditch full of scrap metal. Our shelter staff raced to the scene. They rescued the dog from the ditch and took her to the veterinary clinic in Bursa. They registered the dog at the vet’s as OTOSAN, short for automotive industry, because of where she was found, Karacabey’s car workshop district. She had surgery for her wounds, and after lengthy treatment she recovered her health.
Otosan is now three years old, a really beautiful dog who is as keen on humans as she is on her friends in the shelter.
